Pernyataan Kemenkominfo Mengenai Kiamat Internet Hari Ini 9 Juli 2012

Benarkah Kiamat Internet Itu Terjadi ?
JAKARTA: Keresahan publik atas kiamat Internet mendorong Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika menerbitkan pernyataan resmi di situs kementerian itu pada Minggu, 8 Juli 2012 pukul 22:35 WIB.

Kepala Pusat Informasi dan Humas Kementerian Kominfo Gatot S. Dewa Broto mengatakan pernyataan resmi itu terkait dengan munculnya sejumlah pemberitaan di berbagai media massa terkait dengan kemungkinan terjadinya kiamat Internet pada hari ini 9 Juli 2012.

Pemberitaan tersebut berkembang, terkait dengan rencana FBI untuk mematikan sementara sejumlah server DNS yang akan membuat ribuan pengguna Internet kehilangan koneksi, khususnya mereka yang komputernya terjangkit Virus DNS Changer.

Mengingat banyaknya pertanyaan dari berbagai kalangan, inilah pernyataan Kementerian Kominfo akhirnya menyampaikan pernyataan sebagai berikut:

1. Menteri Kominfo Tifatul Sembiring dalam berbagai kesempatan wawancara dengan sejumlah wartawan pada 5 hari terakhir ini mengatakan bahwa informasi tentang kiamat Internet tersebut hanya merupakan suatu isu belaka.

Meskipun demikian, Menteri Kominfo mengingatkan masyarakat untuk tetap waspada dengan terus meningkatkan sistem keamanan komputer dan Internet.

Peningkatan sistem keamanan penggunaan komputer dan Internet tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan melengkapi fasilitas antivirus di komputer dan melakukan pembersihan komputer secara berkala dengan fasilitas tersebut.

2. Pada jam 12.01 Eastern Standard Time (EST) 9 Juli 2012 tersebut FBI akan mengadakan pembersihan terhadap DNSchanger dalam bentuk penutupan server yang berbahaya dari virus tersebut adalah benar, dan pada saat yang bersamaan FBI juga sedang mendirikan dua server baru untuk membantu menghubungkan pengguna yang terinfeksi ke Internet.

Kewenangan Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) tersebut adalah sah, karena sebagai sebuah biro investigasi di AS, maka ruang lingkup kerja FBI adalah menjalankan fungsi pengamanan, intelijen dan penegakan hukum federal di dalam negeri AS.

Pada 9 bulan yang lalu, FBI berhasil menemukan suatu cyber attact yang sangat mengejutkan di Estonia, dan kemudian FBI berhasil menangkap enam hacker yang berhasil menginfeksi virus malware DNS Charger pada lebih dari empat juta komputer di dunia.

3. Kepada masyarakat diimbau untuk tetap melakukan aktivitas yang terkait dengan penggunaan Internet seperti biasa dan tidak perlu panik dan apalagi justru meniadakan aktivitas dengan Internet sejak 9 Juli 2012.

4. Kementerian Kominfo, khususnya melalui ID-SIRTII (Indonesia Security Incident Response Team on Internet Infrastructure) tetap terus melakukan monitoring, upaya pencegahan dan asistensi dari berbagai kemungkinan buruk yang terjadi baik, karena adanya aktivitas FBI pada 9 Juli 2012 maupun tidak karena adanya aktivitas tersebut.

Sebagai informasi, pada saat rapat dengar pendapat per 21 Februari 2011 dengan Komisi I DPR, Ketua ID-SIRTII telah melaporkan kepada Komisi 1 DPR bahwa setiap hari ada sekitar 1,25 juta serangan cyber yang menyerang berbagai akses Internet di Indonesia. Serangan itu berasal dari luar dan dalam negeri. Dan sejauh itu ID-SIRTII dapat mengatasinya cukup efektif bekerja sama dengan berbagai instansi.

5. Seperti sudah dipublikasikan oleh berbagai kalangan, maka bagi masyarakat yang bermaksud mengetahui apakah komputernya akan terpengaruh atau tidak oleh DNS Changer bisa mengklik langsung ke situs milik DCWG (kelompok yang didirikan untuk mengatasi DNS Changer).

Jika muncul laman dengan warna hijau, artinya komputernya bersih. Jika merah, kemungkinan berpotensi terinfeksi berarti ada masalah, sehingga perlu waktu untuk melakukan pembersihan komputer dari virus yang dimaksud dan perlu berkonsultasi dengan ISP yang terkait. (spr)

1. Desain

Dimensi: 162.6 x 82.4 x 9 mm; Bobot: 182 g
Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 datang dengan kemasan kardus ramah lingkungan yang keseluruhan materialnya dapat didaur ulang. Tinta yang dipakai pada kemasan juga berasal dari biji kedelai yang juga ramah terhadap lingkungan.

Dalam paket penjualannya terdapat kabel data bersama adapter USB serta aksesori earphone yang berwarna putih polos. Kebetulan sekali Galaxy Mega yang kami uji juga datang dengan warna senada.

Sementara dari segi desain, sebetulnya tidak berbeda jauh dengan ponsel seri Galaxy lain yang terinspirasi desain SGSIII. Namun jika diamati dengan seksama, Mega 5.8 ini punya bezel yang lebih tipis serta sudut yang menyesuaikan dengan bodinya yang lebih lebar serta bongsor.

Dari tataletak tombol serta port di sekeliling bodinya juga tak berubah dengan tombol power di ruas kanan serta volume disisi kiri. Untuk mengisi ulang daya baterai terdapat port micro USB disisi bawah. Sedangkan port audio seperti biasa bertengger dibagian atas.

Menggunakan layar TFT berjenis kapasitif, Mega 5.8 sangat disayangkan belum mengusung resolusi HD. Resolusi qHD diatas layar berdiagonal 5.8 inci membuat kerapatan pikselnya turun jadi 190ppi. Sementara untuk respon sentuh jarinya hanya sebatas 5 jari.

Sedangkan ketika digunakan dibawah terik sinar matahari, layar terlihat reflektif terhadap cahaya sehingga mengurangi tingkat keterbacaan menu.

Untuk membuka layar dari posisi terkunci, Samsung mengganti mode efek percikan air ala S3 dengan efek menyerupai terik sinar matahari.

Dalam posisi layar terkunci, Anda dapat menambahkan ikon shortcut yang pengaturannya dapat Anda temui pada settings-> my device -> lock screen. Untuk menjelajah internet Anda juga bisa menggunakan sambungan Wi-Fi yang mendukung dual band. Layar lebar milik Mega 5.8 sangat memuaskan kala dipakai untuk menjelajah dunia maya dengan memakai browser Chrome atau bawaan Android.

Beralih ke konektivitas, Mega 5.8 dilengkapi dengan Bluetoothv4.0, DLNA, dan kabel data. Sayangnya tidak ada chip NFC untuk media bertukar data menggunakan Android Beam.

Samsung membekali Mega dengan beberapa aplikasi yang sebelumnya juga sudah terdapat pada seri Galaxy lainnya. Salah satu fitur menarik yang patut dicoba adalah Group Play yang memungkinkan Anda berbagi gambar dan dokumen termasuk memberi highlight pada gambar yang dibagikan. Anda juga dapat bermain game multiplayer menggunakan Group Play.

Berikutnya adalah Samsung Link yang memungkinkan Anda melakukan remote access dari ponsel ke PC memanfaatkan akun Dropbox, SkyDrive dan SugarSync.
